Character Values

“Live right, the cowboy way.” That’s what Cowboy Billy says as he welcomes kids to the OK Corral, where everyone is “OK.” He urges kids to behave in a good, moral manner. With his humor, music and cartoon visuals, the lessons are fun, not preachy. Examples of the behavior of cowboys in the old west are presented, but analogies will be drawn to the modern life of young folks. A cowboy shouldn’t take someone’s cow, and a kid shouldn’t take someone’s backpack. Good character traits are universal, regardless, of age, location or time. Character traits encouraged in schools are represented by comic actors; qualities like helping others, sharing and honesty. We call these Corral Values.
